CAD Operator (Posted: Nov 02, 2017)

Cascade Pacific Pulp is looking for a part-time CAD Operator at our pulp mill in Halsey, Oregon.

The CAD Operator will prepare, revise, maintain, update and document drawings of mechanical, structural, and electrical equipment; develop utility standards and mill drafting standards; compile, document, and develop layouts, drawings and designs.

The successful applicant will be proficient with Autodesk AutoCAD and Dassault Solidworks CAD software; possess analytical problem-soliving abilities; professional, effective written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize. Preference given for industrial CAD experience, Pulp & Paper experience and/or machine design experience.

Electrical Engineer (Posted: Oct 27, 2017)

The Electrical Engineer’s primary responsibility is to oversee maintenance troubleshooting and project management on the power distribution system and assist with the DCS and PLC systems. The EE will also provide relief supervision and project management support for E&I crews; handle project engineering for small and medium sized capital projects and/or mill maintenance update projects. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 3+ years of experience.

Reliability Engineer (Posted: Aug 17, 2017)

The Reliability Engineer will provide engineering support for the Maintenance department; determine and document appropriate improvements to mill equipment and/or design and manage repair or replacement; oversee inspections of mill systems; assist in mechanical planning for daily work and maintenance shut-downs; and plan, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities of union mechanical maintenance employees.

Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or civil engineering with maintenance experience required; familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems, prior supervisory and/or pulp and paper industry experience preferred.

Inventory & Logistics Planner (Posted: Nov 06, 2017)

International Grand Investment (IGIC) is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Planner. IGIC is the parent company for Cascade Pacific Pulp and resides on the same mill site in Halsey Oregon.

The Inventory & Logistics Planner will determine mill production runs to optimize customer needs, warehouse storage, and external shipping logistics; plan/organize all mill shipping with trucking and rail companies, port authorities, and domestic customers; assist with booking export shipments; process sales freight payments; balance & close month end sales; and prepare multiple reports for management.

Proficiency with office equipment; advanced Microsoft Office; self-starter with effective written and oral communication skills. Preference given for production planning, logistics, and/or inventory & warehouse management.
