CASCADE PACIFIC PULP OPEN POSITIONS
Journey Level Pipefitter (Posted: Feb 15, 2017)
Qualified applicants will have 3 years journey level industrial pipe welding / pipefitting experience in a manufacturing environment; ability to read blueprints, schematics and make simple drawings; repair/replace valves and pipes; perform troubleshooting /diagnosing, fitting and threading; knowledge of materials and their properties; utilize a computer. Successful completion of a 4-year apprenticeship including class work; 4 or more additional years relevant experience may substitute. Pulp & Paper experience preferred. Starting wage of $35.63 plus a competitive benefits package.
Mechanical Engineer (Posted: Feb 09, 2017)
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for project management of capital and maintenance projects; project budget creation and cost control; team leadership for small and medium capital projects utilizing a front end loaded process; engineering analysis of structures, & fluid systems; accurate documentation for mill equipment; systems design & troubleshooting; develop and execute repair plans for critical equipment; select, install, and commission new equipment.
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field required; 3+ years industrial experience including project management experience on capital and maintenance projects.
Process/Environmental Chemist (Posted: Jan 25, 2017)
The Chemist will perform analytical testing of raw materials, mill processes, and pulp using validated test procedures; produce lab work that meets QA/QC standards; operate, maintain and calibrate lab equipment; safely handle hazardous materials; ability to perform work in all areas of the mill regardless of weather conditions, temperature, and/or heights. Position requires ability to work independently with some overtime. Some swing shift and weekend work is required.
Job related background: 4-year degree in chemistry or related science field preferred; experience performing general forms of analytical testing in a controlled setting. Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
Accounts Payable Clerk (Posted: Jan 17, 2017)
The AP Clerk will be responsible to process invoices and reconcile against PO; prepare weekly payments for approval and distribute; set up and maintenance of vendor information; interact with purchasing and other customers to resolve problems; assist department as needed.
Accounting experience and/or college level accounting coursework preferred. Large system experience a plus.
