CASCADE PACIFIC PULP OPEN POSITIONS
Production Supervisor (Posted: Apr 17, 2017)
The Production Supervisor works a rotating shift with operations union personnel; will oversee safe operation of a 600 tpd pulp mill including recovery boiler, power boilers, chlorine dioxide pulp mill with 3 M&D digesters, and 700 tpd pulp dryer; will be incident commander during emergencies; and will coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment up-time.
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in pulp manufacturing facility; relevant engineering or operational experience considered; 4-year engineering degree a plus. Salary DOE.
Process Engineer (Posted: Apr 07, 2017)
The Process Engineer will lead trouble-shooting efforts in the pulp mill, recovery, recaust and with product quality; provide input on process development and optimization; coordinate/review engineering consultant process work and work by process and quality chemists; includes research, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Four-year degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science Engineering or related science/engineering required; will consider recent/upcoming graduate; pulp and paper experience preferred.
Entry Level (Posted: Apr 07, 2017)
Cascade Pacific Pulp is seeking Entry Level workers with initiative and flexibility to staff our mill in Halsey. We offer a starting wage of $22.12/hr with a competitive benefits package.
Entry level positions work an unsettled 4-day, 12-hour rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays as well as scheduled/unscheduled overtime; union membership mandatory; must be willing and able to safely perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks; must be prepared to work as scheduled. Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
Mechanical Engineer (Posted: Apr 04, 2017)
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for project management of capital and maintenance projects; project budget creation and cost control; team leadership for small and medium capital projects utilizing a front end loaded process; engineering analysis of structures, & fluid systems; accurate documentation for mill equipment; systems design & troubleshooting; develop and execute repair plans for critical equipment; select, install, and commission new equipment.
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field required; good analytical problem-solving abilities; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize. Preference given for industrial experience including project management experience on capital and maintenance projects; FE/EIT; experience with AutoCad / Solidworks, machine design, structural analysis and/or mechanics of fluid.
