Mill History


            • 1968/1969:  Mill built by American Can Co.
            • 1969-1985:  Pulp production for tissue and towel production
            • 1985:  Pulp products manufactured and introduced into other paper grades
            • 1987:  Mill capacity expanded
            • 1993:  $30 million Oxygen Delignification system added to the mill process for environmental improvements
            • 1994:  Installation of 700 ton per day pulp dryer
            • 2000:  Installation of $35 million Chlorine Dioxide ECF bleaching system
            • 2008:  Acquired by Cascade Pacific Pulp, LLC
